Corinne's Story
After graduating from EC High, I went to work for my dentist. I did that for about a year, but I wasn't cut out to deal with blood.....LOL I moved to Albany, CA and went to work for an Appliance store in Berkeley. I did the books and payroll. The business grew rapidly and it was relocated to a larger building in Albany. That's were I met my hubby, John. He was my UPS driver. We got married 6 months after we met. We had our 36th anniversary this last October of '14.
After I got married, I quit working in Albany because we bought a house in Pinole.
We adopted our son when I was 31. Dakota is now 27. He now lives in Sacramento with his husband.
We live near Sacramento, CA. We have 3 acres. We've been here for about 20 years. We have 2 horses, Chief & Duke. It was always my dream to have horses and property, I was blessed to have tha...Expand for more
t dream come true. We also have a German Shepard (Gypsy), a Boston Terrier (Hemi), my Boston Terrier, Angel and a new pup as of Valentine's Day 2013. He's a Rottweiler and his name is Apollo. We also have 1 indoor kitty, Faith. We also have a 8 year old Cockatiel named (Zoe). We have 4 outside kitties that have adopted us! They keep the mice away!
John retired in 2005 after 32 years of service with UPS. I'm so glad to have him home. I didn't get to see much of him when he was working. He was gone from home about 12-14 hours a day (1 hour commute each way included).
For the last several years, I've been pursuing my Photography. What used to be just an enjoyable hobby has become somewhat of a part-time job. But I LOVE every minute of it!
