Corrie's Story

October 2008 After high school I joined the Navy to get as far away from home as I could and I made it to the Philippines. I was there for 1 1/2 years then ended back at Moffett Field where I had my daughter in 1988. In 1994 I found my real father and moved to Tennessee to get to know him. I met my husband there. He was widowed with 3 children. We moved to South Carolina the next year for his job and have been here ever since. We just celebrated our 13th anniv...Expand for more
ersary. Our children are Stephan 26 who is married and going to school to become a teacher. Lisa 23 who is a 2nd grade teacher and getting married in November. Ryan 20 who is a student and my Jennifer 19 who is a junior in an animal and veterinary science program at Clemson University. My husband is an engineering manager for husquvarna outdoor products division. I work as a registered nurse in a mother/baby unit and will shortly be moving to Labor and Delivery.
