Courtney's Story
Life-
After spending my senior year as an exchange student in Brazil I went onto IU Bloomington, where I majored in Portuguese and History (specializing in Latin America and the Caribbean). I also completed my Masters in International Affairs, with an emphasis on U.S. Foreign Policy, in 2004 (Only took me 7 years!). I have had a position with the federal government for the past 30 years, and love living on the East Coast. I'm married and have two kids (a girl who is 16 and a boy who is 14) -- My husband and I are having a blast reliving our childhoods with our kids -- Travel softball, Girl Scouts, bowling, fishing, Boy Scouts, taking them on adventures, and laughing lots! ;) Free time is spent with the kids, dogs, parrot and other critters, traveling, working on the house and in the yard, swimming, reading, walking and (no kiddiing!) basket weaving.

- Decorating homecoming floats at Chris Gustis' house; and Powder Puff football junior year.
- Spending the summer before I went to Brazil (between junior and senior year) with Sharon Geary, Kevin Null, Kathy Langfield, Jennifer Makarowski, and others; roadtrip to Turkey Run State Park.
- Going out with a group to Pizza Hut, Round the Clock, or White Castle after home football games.
- Hearing about all the great things everyone was doing senior year while I was in Brazil -- through letters and phone calls from friends family, and newspaper articles, the school paper, and pictures being sent to me.
- Extra-curricular activities: Pep Club/Locker Buddies, Spanish Club
