Courtney's Story
Hey everyone! I graduated from UGA in 1998 with a degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. Since then, I have lived in Costa Rica for five months, writing for a newspaper and vacationing. I met my husband, Tyler Head (another BHS graduate), at UGA during our senior year. We're living in Chattanooga, TN, and married in October 2001. We've traveled a lot together, including a two week rafting/kayaking trip through the Grand Canyon. (I highly recommend it!) er is a lieutenent firefighter for the City of Chattanooga. We bought 10 acres of land on Mowbray Mountain, about 45 minutes Northwest of Chattanooga, and finished building a log cabin on it in June of 2003. We have a beautiful son, Bryson, born in February 2006, and a second son due in May 2008. Since building our house, we have added a stocked pond and a woodworking shop to our property. We build cabinets/tables/doors, etc. in our free time.
