Courtney's Story
After spending two years out of school in middle school, I became incredibly bored with high school and dropped out two months into my Sophomore year. Following that, I enrolled in college at MSU, where I studied Professional Writing/Philosophy, became incredibly bored in my Junior year, and dropped out again (Are you sensing a pattern yet?). Since then, I have been attempting to track down the owners of my student loans so I can begin paying on them and get back into school. We'll see how long it lasts next time I enroll.
I am currently working as a Technical Support Rep/Professional Writer for a fitness equipment manufacturer in Springfield. My resume includes working as an Archivist for the News-Leader, a Tax Specialist and Mailroom Supervisor for the Greene County Collector, and a Circulation Librarian at the Library Center.

methods to feed my body. What my soul thrives on is music, and my adolescent attempts at strumming bar chords and singing/songwriting for a punk band in high school have now come to fruition. I'm now one-half of an electronic duo that has gained international acclaim. Find us on myspace by searching for lacquerspace.
Although I've not left Springfield to live elsewhere, my travels have taken me on regular vacays to both Los Angeles (my "hometown") and Great Britain (my dad's homeland), as well as France.
I am currently still single, without kids. I would like to someday marry and have kids, but finding solidarity in the Ozarks has been a difficult row to hoe. I was briefly engaged in 2006/2007 before an amicable breakup. As of today (August 2009), I am in a semi-new relationship (four months) with an art professor. We'll see if that pans out.
