R. Craig's Story
Craig is from Cassopolis, Michigan. His schools include Cassopolis High School. He later attended Western Michigan University (Bachelor of Arts, Education), University of Michigan (Master of Arts, Forensic Geography), University of Kentucky (Doctor of Philosophy, Geography), National War College.
Served twenty-six years as a Military Police Officer in Vietnam, Germany, Korea, and the United States. Retired as an Army Colonel from his position as Professor and Deputy Head, Department of Geography and Environmental Engineering at the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, NY.

on: Director and Lead Teacher in a High School magnet program in Engineering, leadership in the local and state teachers' unions, and was elected to two terms on the Board of Directors of the National Education Association. He retired from his position as Deputy Superintendent for Operations, Marion County (FL) Public Schools in June of 2018.
In retirement Colonel Ham serves as President of the Marion County Veterans Council; Vice President of the Kingdom of the Sun Chapter, Military Officers Association of America; and he heads up the “Stuff The Bus” program, providing backpacks and school supplies to hundreds of needy elementary school students.
