My draft number wasn't all that high but I was dirt poor, so I joined the Army in the summer of 1971. nd lied my way into a computer programing job with Planning Research Corporation where I spent 10 years doing stuff like automating the US Patent Office, etc. Left PRC in 1988 and founded Blueridge Technologies in Flint Hill VA. We recently reorganized under a new name - Mindwrap, Inc and will celebrate 34 years in business in 2022. We develop document management systems. Geek stuff. For the last 30 years, I've lived out here in the Blueridge mountains with my wife and 4 kids (all grown now) in a large log house built around a 1933 pipe organ I pulled out of a church in Chicago and restored. I restore old keyboard instruments, do woodworking, lapidary, RC models, fishing, mushroom hunting, and critter watching.
