Craig's Story
Life
I've been in construction almost all my adult life. After finishing ALHS, I started working at E. M. PEET MFG. CO. (the stinky feed place accross the street from TJ) After 4 years of office work I needed some time outside. So, I joined the Operating Engineers Local in Omaha and tried my hand at operating heavey equipment. During this time I also tried selling things. Cord organs, vacuum cleaners, pots/pans, floor polishers and cars. I figured out sales was not for me. (no good at it)
Next I joined the Boilermakers Union in Kansas City and started to get my hands, face, & all other parts of my body, really dirty. The toughest part was getting use to working on steel at elevations higher than one would prefer.

s a superintendent in the Power Division. All but two of the assignment have been at Nuclear facilties. While maintaining a permanent residents in Clarence Iowa for the last 27 years, I've had lots of temporary homes. Addresses include Key Largo Fl., Vicksburg Ms., Detroit Mi., Cleveland Oh., Chicago Il., Carneys Point NJ., Texas City Tx., and St. Joseph Mi.
In 1995 back surgery was required to get feeling back in one of my legs. The start of the millennium found my back in need of R&R so I retired.
The kids being scattered, we bought a motor home so we could drop in and visit when ever, with out disrupting their routine. Besides I really like to travel, but not motels/hotels, had enough to last a life time when I was employeed.
