Craig's Story
Craig lives in Salem, Oregon. Craig is married to Cecilia DeSantis Urbani. Craig and Cecilia have one daughter, Katherine Courtney (KC) Sturgis, who lives in Roseville, California with her husband Gavin.
Craig attended San Joaquin Delta College and then graduated from the University of the Pacific with a degree in Speech. Craig worked at Prudential Insurance Company as a Division Manager from 1975 through the end 0f 1982. Craig earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) Designation in 1980. In 1983, Craig began working for the State of Oregon Insurance Division as a Rates and Forms Analyst. ed June 30, 2013, As a retiree Craig worked as the Manager of the Oregon Transitional Reinsurance Pool until Jume 30. 2017 when he completely retired. The Oregon Transitional Reinsurance Pool helped offset claim costs in the guaranteed issue individual health insurance.
Craig and Cecilia were very active in Jaycees (Junior Chamber of Commerce). Craig served as State president of the OregonJaycees and Vice president of the united States Jaycees. Cecilia served as President of the Oregon Jaycee Women and Administrative Vice President of the United States Jaycee Women. Craig and Cecilia are currently very active in the West Salem Lions Club.
Craig and Cecilia have redone the 1970 GTO Craig inherited from his father. They hope to stay busy taking the GTO to car shows.
