Cristina's Story
I would say that I was pretty shy in high school. I was poor and not that smart. I wasn't good at sports or dancing. I didn't know what was "cool" and I felt embarrased by it. I did have a few really good friends and I tried to be a good friend to others. I only regret that I didn't try new things or try to step out of my comfort zone and try to meet people I thought were out of my reach.

to be successful--I actually thought I was going to fail. I have since then received my Masters (in Library Science) and I am currently a school librarian. Before this position I was an elementary school teacher for twelve years.
I met my husband at LCC and we have been together since. We have two wonderful children Gilbert and Mariela who bring us much joy.
I hope to hear from my old friends whom I haven't seen in years and hopefully meet new people.
