Crystal's Story

I started my REAL life at the age of 32 when I found out I really needed Jesus Christ. So most of that stuff before then is deleted... Let's see in five years I finished high school, finished an Associates, finished raising my children...and started a new marriage! WOW! I currently live in Tugutreis, Turkey. I remarried in August of 2008 to a wonderful Turkish national. I moved to Turkey in October of 2008 and I love it here. I have two ? children ? is that what you call them when they grow up?? My daughter is currently attending college in Southern California and my son is finishing High school in Southern California as well... My hobby's and my life has totally changed!! At 37 I am learning all kinds of new things. I am currently learning to speak Turkish,not easy but worth it. I just finished my degree in Deaf Studies, so now I'm learning Turkish culture. There are other things I'm learning: First I am discovering the art of cooking!! I thought I knew how to coo...Expand for more
k,then I moved to Turkey! I learned that NOTHING comes out of a box, cakes, biscuits, bread, pancakes... everything is from RECIPES!! So I have begun to learn to cook from scratch, and eat a raw diet... I waited too long to live healthy so I started here.. (culture shock on twelve different levels!) Hey did you know that you can eat dandelion stems??!!! amazing, we boil them and serve them with lemon and olive oil.. O.k. What else am I doing? Did I tell you I found out I have Adult Deficit Disorder..so I'm kind of random as well.. that explained a lot! OOO and I am also almost Deaf now.. the audiologist says it like this, "just say you hear terribly!" I think it was like that in high school as well.. where was I? :) Let's see... I've learned to cure olives, learning Turkish Sign language to compliment my American Sign Language.. and hopefully will have more children.. I'll update this again sometime with more boring factoids but for now have a great day! gule gule!
