Crystal's Story
Crystal's schools include Tantramar Regional High School, Mount Allison University, UNB (Fredericton).
I homeschool my two beautiful children: Hannah (17 years old) and Malachi (15 years old) - as of July 2013. I have a bachelor of education (elementary), but since I've been teaching high school, I realize I love that too! I have especially enjoyed teaching algebra and science (particularly Chemistry). I belong to Home Educators of New Brunswick, Moncton Christian Home Educators, and Home School Legal Defense Association. I'm also on our local library board.

I enjoy being active with my kids. We love downhill skiing, running (mostly with my daughter), biking, hiking, a bit of geocaching, and snowshoeing. We often play board games as a family and sometimes watch movies together. Hannah and I are watching the series Heartland, right now. As a family, we like Survivor and American Idol.
I love to read all sorts of genres, but I particularly love historical fiction. I like to listen to contemporary Christian music, and my kids are always playing the latest pop, so I guess I listen to that too.
