Crystal Claussen:

CLASS OF 1976
Leesburg, GA

Crystal's Story

Life My life is far different than I ever imagined, after college, I married Joe Ellis of Albany, he and I moved to Atlanta where our son, Glenn was born. We divorced in 1989 and I returned to Lee County where I raised my son as a single Mom. Remember pen pals? When we were in elementary school we would have pen pals from other states and sometimes other countries...so in a sense I've always enjoyed communicating with strangers in 'far-off' places. It seemed only natural that I would take the next step and join the 'Internet' crowd. I met my husband, Mike Claussen, 'online' in April of 1999, he was living in Torrance, California with his two daughers (whom I now consider mine); we met in person in San Diego the following month. We...Expand for more
began a bi-coastal relationship including hours and hours of daily phone calls...leading up to our marriage on Jan. 1, 2001 at the stroke of midnight. However, I didn't move to California until 2003, I waited until my son graduated from high-school and moved to Atlanta to attend Kennesaw State University, before moving. My career has been electic to say the least, I am currently a Project Manager for Zynx Health, a subsidiary of the Hearst Corporation. My clients are hospitals. I return to GA as often as possible along with two annual visits to Panama City, one with my Griffin family and the other with the just the 'girls', my Mom, sisters, sis-in-law and dear friends. For those of you wishing to 'catch up', feel free to e-mail me.
