Crystal's Story
Married 33yrs April 2010. Have 3 grown children (34,31,28) and 2 grans (2,7). I'm presently up for article writer with a well-known Pennsylvania newspaper. I miss my junior high friends & think of them ALL THE TIME! I've often told my children stories about the cut-ups of fun in class with Jeanette Perez & 2 Dianas Lugo/Roman of Suydam Street, Luis Ramos who was engaged to Jeanette, 2 Yolandas Roman/ Ramos, 2 Nancys Ortiz/Vera-Flushing Projects & the whole 849/869 Flushing Crew: Cecilia "Cecy" Rodriguez, Magda Rios, Renee Clemmons, Valerie Fludd, Larry Slaughter, 2 Debras Herron & Harris & 2 Robins Green & Slade. And I miss my elementary school teachers at P.S.145 down the block from then, J.H.S.111, now I.S.111. They always told me I should go into writing. And I hope to one day connect with Mrs. Rosemary Winter and Mrs.Mossa aka Ms. Giabia to let them know I followed their advice and never forgot them.

NFL Football, TCM Classic Movies, the Olympics, browsing catalogs, sudoku, psycho sudoku, newspaper crosswords & flipping houses & home shows, jazz, gospel & other music are my obsessions.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Mrs.Winter Mrs.Mossa, because They were the best inspiration I ever got in my lifetime. P.S.145 will never be forgotten and J.H.S.111 was the most useful education I ever got..

ho had her home built from the ground, up. when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a nice, pipe dream with no chance of ever happening idea. As it turns out, they were wrong. I'm presently living the dream..
In 10 years, I hope to be completely engulfed in an extremely successful flipping business with a crew of 12 office personnel and 10 loyal and dedicated crewman. I'm going to get there by finding some financial angel looking to trust his/her investment in my profit-golden hands.
My mom is my hero because after my dad left us when I was 9, my mom had to be breadwinner and stabilizer in the home. She suffered through hereditary mental illness, secured a job she hated for 25yrs until retirement and got a degree in Liberal Arts, all by age 52 and while on heavy meds for her illness in the process. It was all a nervous, breakdown struggle for her, but she did it! She's now 71 and doing fine, praise the Lord and I'm so proud of her. I love her very much for what she has taught me about strength. In today's times, I couldn't ask for a better hero.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have ownership, control over all matters pertaining to duties, time, staff, final say of all material production, and flexibility of availability, accessibility and performance to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
After a talk with God, a relaxing soak in my bubbles with a great chardonnay or chablis (very dry) and jazz in the background is how I unwind. I've never been a shower person.
