Crystal's Story
I married John Radcliffe, a 1979 graduate of CG, in 1985 and moved to Sacramento CA, where he was stationed at McClellan AFB. In Dec 1986 we were shipped overseas to England, stationed at RAF Mildenhall. Our first daughter was born there six months before we left. The AF then sent us to Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, where our second daughter was born. ree years later, we were sent back to McClellan in Sacramento. In 2001, after 20 years in service, John finally retired. He now works for the FAA, doing flight check for the 9 western states. We live in Yuba City, which is 45 miles north of Sac. Heather is now 21; after two years in the Army, she is back home and going to our local college to finish training to be a veterinarian technician. Megan is 19, and trying to join the AF. She, too, is going to college, taking band classes. I am active in my local church and still ride my horse whenever possible.
