Crystal's Story
I am now a mother of 4 with my two youngest at home and my tow oldest with their father. I work in Amity and Live in Glenwood. I am married to my husband in trianing(lol) and am still aspiring to go to cullinary college at Pulaski Tech. I am not sure yet as to when I am going to get to go but know that I will achieve my dream of being a patisserie chef and opening my own bakery/cake shop. For now I work full time and take care of the house and the girls since my husband is a truck driver and is not home very often.
I know my life is not what I expected when I imagined it as a child.
However, I intend on making it what I want it to be now. My goals in life are different but I believe that as we grow in life things must change in order to make room for new growth. I am embracing my life in a new way and can't wait till t...Expand for more

I'm sorry if I sound like a self help book. I have just discovered that you have to take all the lemons life gives you and make the best of it. Otherwise you just dwell in the darkness that the stress and unhappiness bring. Everything happens for a reason even if we don't know wht that reason is.
I enjoy spending time with my kids. They have become my greatest joy in life. I love my husband and treasure every moment we get together. My life is far from perfect but whats the use in complaining, it doesn't make anthing better. One of my favorite old songs says "Smile through your tears and sorrows. Smile and maybe tomarrow you'll see the sun come shining through." I find that a smile is contagious and no matter what it can make your day brighter. So have yourself a smile.
