Curtis's Story
Life
It is always funny to see how life treats us and how we achieve goals that we thought were not possible. I have found that over the years it is not luck but your attitude and possitive direction that we allow you to reach new hieghts. I have been very fotunate in life with great friends and family over the years. I have kep my self very busy since leaving high school in 1987. I gratuated from U of S in 1995 with a commerce degree with specialization in Marketing and Finance. Since that time I was recuited by Investors Group before I was finished and have had a great career with them ever since. I am now going on to 10 years with them. This career has allowed me many great opportunities in the volunteer work. I have sat on a few boards that I have been very proud of: Kinsmen Foundation and Telemiracl...Expand for more
e for 2 years, Candian Cystic Fibrosis foundation, Saskatoon Zoo Foundation. These boards have been very rewarding and empowering to me. In August of 2004 I will be sworn in as the President of Kin Canada. Kin canada is made up of over 9000 kinsmen and kinettes across Canada, and is Canada's largest all Canadian service organization. As you can see giving back to our communites is very important to me and a very large passion to me.
I still like to spend a bit of time camping and at several different lakes in Saskatchewan in the summer while taking wonderful winter holidays all throughout the Caribbean.
That is a bit about my life and what has kept me busy of the past 15 years. I look forward to see many people that I have not seen in year. I look forward to chatting with you some time soon.
