Curtis's Story
I've gone to Mahwah High School, Riverdale Country School, and Rutgers University. I got a degree in Political Science. I never became President, but it did help me to get a few jobs(back in the days when 4 year degrees were not universal). My college degree also served as an excuse for keeping me out of a few. For instance I was told that I could not sell furniture because I was "overqualified.", not because they didn't think that I could sell furniture. I've owned a Christian bookstore, worked for Verizon, and done about 20 other jobs short term jobs from pumping gas to selling family portraits. e true to say that He found me; I wasn't really looking for Him. He changed my life. Today I am a born-again Christian. My wife and I hope to attend the reunion.
The past two years, 2016-2017, have been active. I retired from my position as a Labor Services Rep with the state of New York. Last year I was diagnosed with Intestitial lung disease. I lost 35 pounds off of this already skinny frame in a matter of a few months. I lost my appetite; had to force myself to eat. Thought I might be at the end of the road. If you've never been where I was, its scary. However, I started taking prednisone. today, thank God(which I do), I have vastly improved. My lung's ability to exchange carbon dioxide for oxygen went from a low of 28% back up to 71%, which is almost in the normal range. Feeling normal and grateful today. Wishing Blessings on all who read my profile.
