Cyndena's Story
After college I began working in for the government, and have invested 28 years in public service. I have worked in welfare, developmental disabilities, HIV/AIDS, health education, and hepatitis prevention programs. I am currently a Special Projects and Research Coordinator for the Department of Health at the headquarters level.
Not married (anymore), no kids, except the four-legged, furry, or feathery variety. But I do lay claim to a two-legged creature of the male persuasion that says he likes me and wants to keep me forever. I think I just might let him. If he can put up with me after twenty-three years in the Special Forces, then he's probably a keeper.
I enjoy traveling when I can afford it. I have been to Greece and Alaska, and all over Florida and odd parts of Georgia and Alabama. ...Expand for more
Lived in Kentucky briefly in the 1980s, which ultimately led me to my lifemate some 20 years later. I grow herbs, dance in the moonlight when the mood seizes me, have been called Goddess by some and Enforcer or worse by others. Depends on what side of the decision they are on at the time. Handling government policy has its moments and its downside.
I still don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I'll let you know when I figure it out. It's all a journey. My tastes are eclectic, my life has been unusual, and I have had some unique experiences. Then again, sometimes it's all quite mundane.
