Cyndi's Story
Life
Two years after I graduated I moved to La Loma, New Mexico. I have been married for over 25 years. I am the Postmaster in our small town. I also am in the local Fire Department, and the service director for our local EMS/Ambulance service. We raise cattle, horses, chickens, and alfalfa. My husband and I have 3 kids. Anthony is 21 and in the Navy, Olivia is 15 and a cheerleader ,and Garrett is 14 and plays football. my daughter is finishing her last year of college, and my youngest boy is finding his way as a young adult. I took over a larger Post Office and am now 'forced" to work 8 hours a day and drive 3 miles to work versus working from home! I love it! I'm still fighting fires and rescuing people. I really enjoy being able to help out here in my town! I serve on a board that manages rural health clinics covering the NE part of the state. I'm also involved in the local well association which is a huge challenge! Enjoying life!
