Cyndi's Story
Life
I started my 12th grade year in Sept. 1982, Eight months pregnant an in Oct. I had my son. I left school for materinity leave for 6 weeks with the assistance of home tutors (Jan Virsack and Charlie Toth) THANKS SO MUCH TO THEM. I returned to school until I graduated with the rest of my class. Matt's dad and I chose not to stay together and we both remained friends. Most people would know him from his family business "LUCKYS". Buck Lynch always remained a part of our son's life. Now Buck owns the LUCKYS in Brooklyn Park which I am sure keeps him very busy. When my son was 2, I met my husband Don. Don is 22 years older than me, however we've been married for almost 23 years now. I have two step children Donna is 37 and is a Vet. Tech. she has 2 wonderful kids Dave and Caity and one beatuiful grand daughter Cerria. Chris is 32 and is a US Navy Officer and is married to Kim. They live in Norfolk VA. Having a child while still in school (especially in the 80's) wasn't popular however we all seem to make it work. Matt has grown up to be a fine man and he has been in US Navy for 7 years and is Mar...Expand for more
ried to Jess a cosmetologist and has my 2 grand children. Nohea Faith 3 years and Caleb Reed 1 1/2 years old. My son Matt is stationed at the U.S. Navy Support Facility, in Diego Garcia. An island in the middle of the Indian Ocean, Diego Garcia - British Indian Ocean Territory - U.S.A. for a year however this is a nondepend duty station so my daughter in law and grandchildren are living at the Naval base in Annapolis. Until Matt returns to this country. I travel alot with my daughter in law to VA. that is where his next duty station will be. He will return December 22 and his wife is in the process of buying a 5 bedroom home in the historic Hamptom VA. With todays access to the internet he has been looking at houses with her. So when his gets back he will be with his family at their own home. I stayed in the area we live in Glen Burnie, In a small community Gerard Plaza. My husband is retired and I own a small private housekeeping service for the pass 15 years. I only work about 20 hours or less a week now so I spend lots of time with my husband. You could say we are living happily ever after.
