Life Hey Y'all (practicing my southern drawl, we just moved to Georgia 1 year ago) I've been enjoying reading some of your bio's and thought I would contribute. When I graduated from Apollo I went directly into the work force with a major Insurance company as a paper pusher. No, not my life goal but it paid the bills so I could move out on my own and sort out my goals and priorities. Gradually, over the next 10 years, I was able to acquire the training and skills to move into the area I had always aspired to, working with physically and mentally challenged children as a rehabilitation therapist and respite caregiver. I feel very blessed to be one of those people who loves their job and am a better person for being a part of the lives of these special individuals. Prior to moving to Ga last year, due to my husbands job relocation, I had lived all my life in Arizona. I've been married to Nick since 1979 and we've had 3 children and a menagerie of various animals. My 17yo daughter,Sara, moved with us to Georgia; but Eric, my 24yo son, stayed back in Arizona.~ I sure do miss him~ He started his own family several years ago and has his own son, Alex, who just turned 2yo Oct2003. Yes, that makes me a grandma, and I own that bumpersticker that says "if I knew grandparenting was going to be so much fun, I would have done THIS first" ...Expand for more
