I always wanted to be a Music Therapist when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a strange idea. As it turns out, they were very wrong. My training has helped with two of my children.
My inspiration is my children.
My biggest surprise in life was my daughter. She is a bundle of joy, challenges, love and laughter. I have learned a lot from my kids; each one is so different from the others. While I have only two biological children, I have four foster kids; and have raised three others. I don't really have any obsessions; I enjoy traveling, exploring different countries with my children.
My favorite way to relax is to spar with swords or staff with my boys or do Tai Chi with my girls.
I have lived in several different places, but have always kept a home-base here in NY because it is one of the easiest and quietest retreat...Expand for more
s away from my busy life. If I was to chose one place other then here it would be Sedona, Arizona.
If I won $100 million, I'd put most of it into investments for my parents and my children, then spend the rest on my sister, a vacation around the world and remodeling my house and add on a green house and a music studio so that I could expand on working with SPD children through Music Therapy.
My dream home would be built into a cliff-side in Sedona because the red rock energies are amazing!
I want to eventually move back to Arizona. The sunsets in the red-rocks are breath-taking. The energy one feels is so enlightening and rejuvenating, it is hard not to feel the strength of the spirit when you are there.
My first job was at Brooklyn Diner, where I got paid $15 a day to wash dishes. What I remember most about it is that it taught me about determination because it gave me an opportunity to earn money for a trip I really wanted.
