Cynthia's Story
Life
After a couple of years of trying out college, I worked for a few years--mostly office stuff. I married in 1977 and have been married now for 40 years. My husband and I have seven kids--3 boys and 4 girls, ages 21 to 39, and three terrific sons-in-law.
I have stayed in SE Portland, now living in the David Douglas area.
Have worked a few part-time jobs over the years, marketing, child care, sales,--and my 4 years driving a school bus make me very glad NOT to be doing that anymore<g>.

st of the past 40 years, I've put in my years in PTA, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, kids sports, etc. and now volunteer at a family history library. I love learning about the people in my past and how they lived. Maybe history class would have been more interesting in the context of my own family history!
Health challenges in the past few years have slowed me down a lot.. and dialysis keeps me close to home. I currently enjoy my hobbies--mostly sewing and art related, and spending time with my kids and 10 grandchildren.
