I started my retirement job when I was 50--I went to school when I was 47 to become a nurse-midwife. It has been by far the most challenging and the most rewarding thing ever to have happened to me. My kids are grown, I'm married to Stan Woody, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. We are blessed to both be in good enough health to be able to continue to contribute to our community.
