Life
After I graduated from Lincoln in 1969, I joined the Navy. I had one child, a son, David Alan.

Almost three years ago, my son died of complications from diabetes.
He was 28 years old. This loss has changed my life in ways I could never imagine, and I look at life much differently than ever before.
I could never have become who I am now without experiencing this loss and am learning to be grateful for what my son has taught me through his death.
