Life
Attended UCSB '65-70, graduated with BA in English & Anthro. Spent summer of '70 touring Europe on only $300! Got a job as accts. payable clerk in City of Commerce in '70. Married in '71 (Jim Roche, salesman). Attended CSFullerton '71-72, got MSLibrary Science. Husband's job allowed us to move to San Diego in '72. I held several dead-end jobs (candle factory, flier distributor, receptionist) since nothing was available in library work. I started my own horsemanship instruction business at (then) Horseman's Park in San Diego in '73. ried in '89. He committed suicide in '95. Met 3rd husband in '95 (Ken Krug), living in his car at Mission Bay. Hired him as wrangler for my horse business, married in '05. June '06 closed my horse business in San Diego, moved back to La Habra to care for my dying mother. She passed away in Sept. '06. Ken and I decided to leave Calif, bought a home in Prescott, AZ. We are now retired here, visiting with his children and grandkids in Phoenix, fishing from our little boat in the local lakes, volunteering for Horses With Heart-a facility for handicapped riders, and enjoying all the wonderful scenery and recreational opportunities in this area of the country.
