Cynthia's Story
I started working at Brown & Root two weeks after graduation. I've worked a lot of different jobs since then mostly in the export cargo business. I am currently unemployed and loving it.
In 1980, I married my high school sweetheart, Bryan Rawlings - star of the track team. We're still living in the same house he grew up in. There's been good times & bad but Bryan and I agree neither one of us has the time or energy to train another spouse so we might as well stay together ...Expand for more
(joking). It's been a rough ride but I can't imagine my life with anyone else.
Our sons are our pride & joy. Steven is 3rd generation graduate from GPHS and a US Sailor. My mother graduated from GPHS too. Travis is following in his brother's footsteps. Both did/do good in school.
We keep up with quite a few people we went to school with. My sister ended up marrying Jerry Kulhanek. They have a son too.
God has blessed us greatly and life is pretty good these days.
