Cynthia's Story
Life
It has been so many years and now we are coming up on a reunion!! I can not believe it. Well where do I start, I married my high school sweetheart,Jerry (grad from Tarpon Springs) and we both joined the Marine Corps in 1997. After dealing with the seperations from deployments and being overseas we have finally been able to settle down and I now have two children, both boys. We have lived from place to place thanks to the military but have settled back at home in Palm Harbor. My Boys are Jerry III who is 6 and Charles who is 2. I currently am in college full time and I work full time for the Department of Homeland Security as a TSO. I was discharged from the Marine Corps in 2000 medically having suffered severe trama to my spine. I spent time at Parris Island, Camp Geiger,Redstone Arsenal and Camp Lejeune. In the Marine Corps I was an Ammo Tech. Ammmmmooooo! Anyway I am looking for folks I knew in all walks of my life so feel free to email me. I hope your lives have been blessed as much as mine has!!!!
School
I have a great many memories of all of us hanging out at the beach on sand key and clearwater. I have good memories of belt buckels and pick up trucks. Hanging out at neon moon, stampede and roundup.

It all started with 13 weeks of pure hell!!! I can't believe we all actually made it through, remember Sgt. Anderton(if you are reading this and were in my plt.) She is still just as intimidating as the day I met her. If you think you have had it bad at any point in your life try 13 weeks of Marine Corps Boot Camp, then we'll talk. Do all you girls remember "Happy Girl" and our own rendition of "Lady Leatherneck"? Truly, I loved ever minute of my time in the Corps. I only wish I had been able to stay in, unfortunatly I was injured to the extent that I had to be removed from my service on a med board, but I still bleed garnet and gold, OOOHHHHRRRAAAHHHH!!!! semper fi, p.s. I highly recommend that all current and former Marine give or join the Marine Corps Heritage Foundation, it is preserving the past and the future of OUR Marine Corps history. check out the web site.
