Cynthia M's Story

Life My Spouse We were introduced on May 26, 1972 by one of my classmates, Sylvia. Her husband worked with him and decided we should meet. We set up a date to meet at the Curve-In. After that, we were together all the time, and married on March 3, 1973. My Pets I have several Toy Fox Terriers, (We have lost our golden retriever and a corgie and many ofther dogs, a miniature horse and many cats). We are down to just two tom cats. We have just two cows left, so are just about out of the farm life, but love our country living. I want another corgi so bad! My Kids Our oldest is Shelly (born in 1974). She married a nice young man she met online in April of '97', met in person that next July, and married in June of 1999. They have three girls and they live in Wichit...Expand for more
a. Matt is married and has two adult kids. He is working for a construction company not far from home. Kalinda graduated Emporia State in December of 2000, met her husband on Halloween of 2002, married in June of 2004, and now they have three boys and live in Wichita, also. Jeff, born in 1980, is our youngest and is working close to home for the Rural Electric Company on the tree trimming crew. He and his wife have two girls and two boys and live in Ozawkie. My Job I retired from the Bank of McLouth in 2017. Before that I worked at several other places since going to work full time in 1999. We did foster care for nine years, and had a total of 168 children visit us. I'm loving the stay at home life, but enjoy going camping. We really need to do more of that!

Jim hilling the potatoes ... they look so good!
One potato we must have missed last year 😆
Trying to keep my garden cover sidewalk clean, so grass/weeds don't grow on it. Swept yesterday morning, then Jim roto-tilled! This is what I had to sweep again in the afternoon ... as bad as housekeeping, LOL!
Using empty mineral tubs for zucchini, yellow squash, ginger and something else 🤔. Thanks to Kalinda & family for my little gnomes to mark the tubs (my Mother's Day gift).
We need more tubs if anyone has some!

Thanks to my sister Theresa for more horse "compost". Missed part of the garden last year, so will get the rest now. Makes a beautiful garden! (And thanks to Jim for all the grunt work he does for me in the garden 💞).
