Cynthia's Story
I have just retired from General Motors (G.M.) in Grand Rapids, MI on July 1, 2008 with 31 years senority. Transferring in 1984 from The Saginaw, Nodular Iron Plant.
I also dabble in real estate investing.
I have been married for 28 years to Napoleon (PoPo) Draine c/o 1973, we have two children together, Eboni 26 married with two girls, just received her bachelor's degree and Julian 23 years old who is a contractor painter for Lowes, Walmart and Sam's Club. He has one daughter.
I also have 4 step-children and a host of step-grandchildren.
After all these years the Lord has blessed me to be as active as I have always been. Between managing my properties, attending church...Expand for more
, hanging with my children and husband, dining out, attending plays, traveling just around the U.S. so far, setting up luncheons with my girlfriends, spending time with my parents in Saginaw on 17th street, my cousins and friends, ballroom dancing, and spending time with my grandchildren I have very little time left in a day for sleep, but it's all good.
Giving all the credit to GOD, because my mom is always sending me an obituary of someone around my age.
