Cynthia's Story
Life
I finished High school in a small town in Texas-Marshall High. After h.s. I moved back to California, and soon afterwards married.
Before a whole year had gone by, I gave birth
to my son,Gregory Poppy, in September 76. By '82 I was divorced. I
raised my son alone until I was remarried in 1987. During that time, I worked as a waiteress
and attended a church that helped me improve
my life and be reconciled to my past. In 1985
during the spring semester, I began college,
taking courses toward a psychology degree. In
two years of coursework(59 hrs) and about two-and-a-half in real time, I had to quit to

my two new daughters,born within 20 mos. of the other. Rebecca is now 13yrs.,
Naomi is 11yrs. In 1993 I had our last daughter,Lydia. She is 7yrs. Through the years my husband Mark Wimberly and I have
raised my son and our daughters,graduated one son from High School and husband with a Master's degree in religion. I attended my
25 year reunion this past June,and returned
to California for the first time in 19 years.
It was a miracle that we got to go...Mark
accompanied me...and the experience was spectacular. Whatever we do ,we trust in God and His Son,Jesus Christ
to lead us in God's will.He has never let us down
