Cynthia's Story
I think I was rather shy in high school. I was a cheerleader and thet was fun...I got to scream and (dance...kind of).Unfortunately, at times, the screaming has carried over to my children.
What I get paid to do? ? ? Although I am an Audiologist, landscaper, financial manager, household engineer, electrician, animal behavioralist.....I get paid...nothing. My daughter just graduated from Mount Saint Mary's University in Chemistry. My son is a going to be a junior at Salisbury State University, loving every minute of it. My husband is in the medical field and I maintain the house and family and am the gopher. I love my dogs and my horse. They always bring a smile to my face and give me a happy heart. My horse, JJ, is the love of my life, but my husband comes in a close second...ha ha. five years and have settled in Hagerstown MD. I really love it here. It is probably one of the few places where you have to watch out for cows, chickens, peacocks and wild turkeys crossing the road. We have 3 acres and Antietam creek is our back property line. It is very peaceful down by the creek. Our family canoes and kayaks down the creek. We still go to Fenwick Island all year round and I still love it there. I spent most of my summers there as a kid.
I lost a little girl at 18 weeks and because of that I think I have learned that each and every life is important no matter how old, young, big or small. And you can always find something good that has come from a bad experience.
Unfortunately, I think I have always learned the hard way and probably always will.
I would love to hear from any of my friends while I was growing up. I look back and grin, but miss my old friends.
