Cynthia's Story
After graduating from JD, Cyndy went to Emory U., majored in Biology, grad class of 76. Did some post-bac work at Auburn U. in Foods and Nutrition, then completed a second B.S. in Science Ed. Married my high school sweetie, Thad. Worked as a science teacher in St. Louis for 3 yrs, then as a lab tech in cancer research at Purdue U. for 5 yrs. Was a stay-at-home mother of two...Expand for more
kids for 6 yrs, then returned to work in cancer research at Lawrence Livermore National Lab for 15 yrs. Retired in May 2008 from LLNL. I'm heavily involved in music (play clarinet) in several East Bay groups, and am working now at a "second career" as a clarinet teacher. Always happy to hear from old friends and former classmates!
