Cynthia's Story
I am living in Canada (Ottawa) and have been here since '83, after living in California for 15 years. I was happy to get back to Michigan for our 40 year HS reunion of Benton Harbor HS and to catch up with some old friends. I'd love to hear from any of you who want to keep in touch.
I started off my working life in savings and loan associations, but then went back to college in psychology. Since 1977, I have worked in mental health care of one kind or another, and since 1994 (when I completed my PhD) have been a clinical psychologist in my own private practice working mainly with children and teens, doing assessments and therapy. retirement at the end of June 2009, to allow even more time for health and fitness activities and socializing, as well as my hobbies: choral singing (and the occasional solo), photography (I have been entering group exhibits), drawing and watercolor painting, vegetable gardening, travel, and reading. I have lived with Sean (just-retired scientist) for a little over 20 years now, and have an adult stepson and daughter-in-law who live five minutes away, and who now have a daughter, Teaghan, who was born January 15, 2009. So we're grandparents now (see new photos)and get to babysit. I have two adorable cats we got in 2007 who are now all grown up and are great buddies for us and each other.
