Cynthia's Story
I do not know where to start. I think it is foolish to try and update any of you on the last 30 years of my life. Here goes: I went to college and graduate school where I obtained a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Administration. I was 28 years old when I got married (I thought I might have gotten that right, waiting so long). I married Mark Maier and had 2 beautiful daughters Emily and Alison. They are great kids in spite of their mother. I was 34 when I got divorced. I live in Affton where I am pretty involved in the school district and community. I have been with Ray Heitman for 10 years and he is the man of my dreams. It takes a really special man to be with me and he is that man. We are Cardinals season ticket holders. We have a great life. We have traveled pretty extensively and I never thought I could obtain a "perfect life". If perfect is a good man, great kids, pretty home, and an okay job, that is. We are always ...Expand for more
on the run. I am running kids here and there or I am yelling at a home Cardinal game. Shock me yelling.
**Edited by Emily Maier. My mother can't spell or use correct grammar to save her life. Hello to all my mom's former classmates!
My turn to tell you about my mom. My mom said that my sister and I are "great kids in spite of their mother." Well, I can't speak for my sister, but I'm not a good kid in spite of my mom. I'm a good kid because of my mom. You knew her in high school, while she was growing up and finding out who she is. I know her after she's found herself, and wisdom has descended upon her. My mom is loved by all my friends; they're all convinced she's still a 17 year old. She's really cool, and she is uber funny. She gives great advice. I love my mommy. She just can't spell! Ugh. Seriously, who does the whole "yrs" thing. Two extra letters won't kill you! Jeeze, mom! Goodbye, classmates of my mother that I've never met!
