Cynthia's Story
After high school, I graduated from UNC-G with a BS Interior Design. Then I hit the road traveling up and down the east coast for a few years. Worked and lived in Tampa, FL; the Big Apple; and landed in Greensboro where I met my husband, John (aka "Scrooge") of 13 years. We both work in DC now. I work at the Federal Reserve.
We currently live in Maryland about 45 minutes outside of DC. We have twin boys, John and Winston. They are 9 years old and they are a scream. Kids ar...Expand for more
e a trip! In first grade Winston was having a few behavior problems. The teacher had been sending home notes asking me to call but I never saw any of them. Finally, she sent a note home for me to sign. It was returned to her the next day signed "Mommy." When she asked Winston if I signed it, he told her I had. She asked, "Her name is Mommy?" Winston shrugged and said, "Yeah, that's what we call her." I have the note...It's been framed and hangs in my office.
