Cynthia's Story
After high school I worked full time for awhile. Got sick of dead end jobs and taking orders. Went back to school to become an RN. Got married and had 5 kids, going back to school on the way to get my BSN. My kids have made me laugh, made me cry, and put me through experiences I never thought I would find myself in. I'm assistant manager of the post-partum unit at United, involved in my area business association, and have too many pots in the fire. people and plan on living here forever. We are in the planning stages of building a new house on 10 acres, but have been stuck for a few years thanks to the economy. I want to be able to sit on my porch and watch the wildlife, but be able to see my neighbors at the same time - not too demanding! My family means everything to me, but I am looking forward to the empty nest syndrome, and I need to retire so I can fit in all the stuff I want to do, but don't have time for - like spending time with my friends.
