Cynthia's Story
After graduating in '72, I worked at the Alaska Courthouse downtown, then worked on TransAlaska Pipeline, then needing a change when the pipeline work was finished, I moved to Hawaii.
Who would have thought that this generation would go on to do so many great things! I met my husband, Stan, in Salina, KS and have been married 34 years. We have 2 sons and a daughter, all of them graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX as we raised them in a Hereford, TX, one and half ...Expand for more
hours north of there.
Stan and I retired in 2008 and have moved to Bella Vista, Arkansas. We play golf 3-4 times a week, so life is pretty rough! There are 8 golf courses and 8 lakes in this community with lots of trees and water. Best move we ever made.
I've been gone so long from Alaska and thought it might be nice to see what friends are doing now. Surprised to see so many have stayed in Alaska. Maybe it would be fun to attend a reunion!
