Darroll's Story
I came to Campbell for my Senior year my Frosh and Junior years were at El Cerrito High School. Graduated June 1955 and 17 days later I was in the Navy. Got out of the Navy in 1959, knocked around a bit and landed a job as a Deputy Sheriff for Santa Clara County. Worked there for 5 years then spent the next 30 years with the San Jose Fire Department. 985 and lived there for 20 years, then in 2005 we moved to Salem, Oregon, where we are today. I retired from SJFD in 1994 and have been working ever since. I'm currently the Investigator for the Oregon Board of Architects, two days per week.
I've made it to a few reunions and hope to make it to a couple more. I'd love to hear from some of you.
