Dagmar's Story
I went to Washington Irving from 65'-69 when it was an all girl school. I remember during Thanksgiving time we were asked to bring apples for the needy. During Xmas we were also asked to donate a gift for a child. A huge tree was place by the front entrance and the toys were placed under the tree just before Xmas vacation. after school i found work at various places. I was a teller then i went on to customer service and new accounts. Now i am a bookkeeper with a labor union. I raised a son, and now i am a grandmother of a boy and girl. It...Expand for more
wasn't easy but i am happy.
If I won $100 million, I'd give some of it to family, then spend the rest on me, son and needy children.
My first job was at Best & Co, where I got paid 50.00 to write numbers on a index card. What I remember most about it is boring.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have my coffee, clean spot, and professionals around me to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
my inspiration came from many people I met through the years whether good or bad contacts.
I learned from my child his ideas were good thoughts.
