Dale's Story
After Norland, I went to Miami Dade Junior College for 2 years, then on to Florida State for two years. I graduated from FSU in June, 1968 with a degree in Accounting. After college, I worked the summer in a hospital and then a CPA firm in Miami until I got drafted into the Army in January, 1969. I spent my military time in Virginia and Korea. I got out of the army in December, 1970. Then in March, 1971, I got a job with the State in Tallahassee for a year or so. In July, 1972 I moved to St. Louis with an accounting job ...Expand for more
with a structural steel fabricating company. Four months later (Nov. 1972), I met Brenda, my future wife. We got married in June, 1974, and have now been married for over 35 years. We have one son, Jeremy, who is 30 & lives in Kansas City. In 1977 I went to work with McDonnell Douglas/Boeing, where I worked in Accounting until April, 2006 - when I retired. Brenda also worked at Boeing, & she retired in July, 2005. So now we're living the life of leisure and really enjoying our retirement ¿ traveling when time permits.
