Life
Attended "The Old Whitter Elem.School move to Northeast District and graduated James Elem.going on to Northeast Jr.then on to Sr. Building.....quitting my junior year (61)I joined the U.S.Navy (SEEMED LIKE THE RIGHT THING TO DO)I completed "Boot Camp" and was assigned to an Naval Avaition Squadron as a mechanic(later changed over to ordnance)and spent the next 7 1/2yrs.w/them(serving 4 tours of duty in Viet Nam)after it was deactivated in 1967 I transfer to a training and replacement squadron where we trained replacement pilots and enlisted personnel in aircraft maint.and combat tactics and handling of various types of weaponery.After discharge I moved to San Jose,California with my wife and two children where I was employed as a Security Officer & patrol supervisior along w/being a Reserve Deputy Sheriff;getting tired of concrete and asphalt we moved back to Missouri and resided in Salem/Springfield where I was employed as a firefighter and Emergency Medicial Technician moving to Ro...Expand for more
lla where I've resided since 1978 I remarried AND DIVORCED(BOY!!!)and have been employed as a firefighter/e.m.t. for 20 yrs.along w/being a security officer patrol/supervisior,body guard,club bouncer for two yrs.,corrections officer for 6 yrs. and am currently employed by the State of Missouri Adjutant General Department of Public Safety.I consider myself very lucky and proud to have worked in the various fields I've been and am now in and think I've done pretty good for a "high school dropout" with nothing more than a G.E.D. to startout with and the college courses I've obtained.I would like thru this to"meet up"with some of my old classmates and see what's up in their lives i.e.Wayne Mizer and Jim Murphy who I use to work with at the Kansas City Star on Lee Raiders "Paper Truck";Barbara Kelly,Pat Stephenson,Judy Vaughn,Beverly Foster all from Northeast High School and some of the church group (Nina & Mary Ingold)who also attended "Thou Dear".Hey thanks for reading and GO VIKINGS!!!!
