Dale's Story

I left Centralia after a few years working at WILY and WRXX and went off to live in the radio world winding up in Morgantown, West Virginia, at an AM and FM station in a college town. Just what I wanted. That was 1977 and I thought I would stay a year and get to KMOX - my dream job. Well, it's been most of my life but it's worked out fine. Our company now has 26-radio stations and a radio network...Expand for more
that originates the West Virginia University Mountaineers. I still am a Centralia Orphan at heart and brag about the "winningest" high school team in America to anyone who will listen. I've got some great kids and had a long marriage that ended. Funny what life throws at you sometimes. Still love music, sports, concerts and baseball. Things are funny to me - and I wouldn't have it any other way.
