Dale's Story
Once my carefree school days were over, I married my best friend Richard in 1976. We live in North Toronto and we have 2 sons. The oldlest is a teacher in London, England and my youngest is an art director for a large ad firm in Toronto. They are the light of my life.
I work for the Toronto District School Board where I created a programme to design, build and adapt equipment for students with physical handicaps. I have been working with these kids for 15 years now. In 2006 I won the Premier's award for Excellence in Education for Special Needs and have also won a recognition award from the the Council for Exceptional Children.

ears in the summer. Together we have added a second story to our home and recently an addition out the back. Our contractor didj the shell of the additions but we did all the work inside. I should have been a carpenter, but the work I do now is not far off that. I love to create with my hands, building things, doing pottery, and knitting fill my time. I have moved a 100+ year old log cabin into my backyard in the city for my workshop. For years I taught cedar/canvas canoe building in the basement of Western Tech and occasionally teach classes at Lee Valley.
I have enjoyed catching up with old friends here and on facebook and find my memory is not what it once was. These reminders of time past are treasures for sure.
