I left Cabot almost immediately after graduation to find work. I did a couple of semesters at ASU Beebe and one at UALR before I left for the oil fields of New Mexico in 1981. I roughnecked for 5 years and returned to Arkansas in 1986 to finish my education at UA Monticello. I finished my BS in Chemistry in 1989 and enrolled in the PhD program at the University Missouri-Rolla later that year. I rec...Expand for more
eived my PhD in Chemistry in 1995 and began working as a scientist at Los Alamos National Laboratory the same year. I've been at Los Alamos since that time. I'm currently a Senior Advisor on national security matters and recently returned to Los Alamos from a 2.5 year assignment at the National Nuclear Security Administration in Washington DC.
I'm recently divorced and have primary custody of my daughters (8 & 16).
