Dalwyn's Story

Life I'm retired in N.E. Wisc. with my childhood sweetheart. We have a 3 br home we share with 3 cats. Between us we have 11 kids and 25 grandkids and 3 great grand child which most live around us. I've been married now 3 times, and my loving and wonderful wife Bev twice counting me. Had a business of my own, and also have been in partnership on another. Also have been in the transfortation field for about 23 years. Damaged my back once again and decided to reire. Rode a bike about 29 years and had to sell it due to back. Now thinking of getting a hotrod to fill the void. We like to be with the family, fish, travel, and really just be together... We now have our new and last home where we shall live our finial years together. Oh! If you're trying to figure out who Bev is. She went to Brookfield high. We saw each other off and on for about 5-6 years. I didn't want to be tied down back then. What a fool I was. Wish I would have spent my whole life with her. Love the north woods! Now closest town is about 10-11 miles away. Would never live in a big city. One traffic light in the area is enough. Now. I damaged my back bad once and lost the use of my right side for the better part of a year. That has been a problem ever since. Damaged it four more times. Four cracked skulls with five head concussions. Broken bones, cut, 2nd & 3rd degree burns, and more. Said ouch more than once. Due to the injuries, and my other two wives I have lost all, or most of what I had three times. Now we're fairly comfortable. My life varied very much. From being on top and happy, to either at or near the bottom. From being young and cocky, to a drunk and to heavly usage of drugs. Lost all of what I called my friends in order to leave a life behind me that was dragging me down in so many ways. My first wife was a mistake from the moment I said I do. It meant something to her, but not me. The second one was a woman that had never done anything in life. And 14 years younger. We grew apart after about 10 years. Now...Expand for more
I feel I have near a perfect wife in my eyes. And I know and always feel how much we love each other. I've found my soul mate again. Just wish others could be as happy... Did I have a smooth life? Not by a big margine. But I'm happy about the fact that there's no ending to this story yet. That's for sure. Finished my High School and then went to school for several after that. But I think all my soft and hard knocks in life was my best education. Traveled within the U.S.A. several times over and enjoyed almost every second of it. So I've been around and have seen a lot. My life was not confined to mostly the same area all my life as so many people. More than many can say. Now maybe you know alittle about my life, and maybe something of what may be inside of me. Hope that feeds some of the curioslty inside of who ever looks under my name. Enjoy the time you have left, as the people around that are close to you is a good place to seek that pleasure. Just recently purchased a 2007 RV and plan on getting a good deal of use out of it... Good bye from Dalwyn & Beverly Waters After all these years of work, and so few of retirement, I now find out I have cancer... Where's the fairness? Workplace I worked in a few factories when I was young. Then opened a Go Go bar in the late 60's and though most of the 70's. The bar went as the marriage did too. Relaxed by fishing and traveling for a year or so until I lost the use of my right side of my body for a year. Went to work in the transfortation field along with a joint ownership in a local bar for a few years until it wore me down. Never seemed to have any time off. That left me in the transfortation field. Wanted the insurance and pension when the time came. Pulled the plug in 2001 and decided to relax a little. Wouldn't you kn ow it. The company messed with the pension and health care after I retired and it seemed to have gotten smaller... Enjoy some of the time you have left before it is to late! It sneaks up on you really fast...
