Where have 25 years gone? Came across the senior annual a couple of days ago and thought I'd see if there was a reunion scheduled. I graduated early (January 83), to get to XU... then to UC... then worked as a newspaper editor... moved to Iowa for a brief, horrible period (smile), Los Angeles, web developer... was seized by the Power of a Great Affection in 1998 and in 2000 God called me to the Philippines as a missionary. I've been a missionary with the Assemblies of God ever since and am now residing in Cebu City as a missionary and church planter for the Deaf in the Visayas. I remember Leslie Roy giving me a copy of C.S. Lewis' "Mere Christianity" and thinking she was looney-tunes! How foolish I was and how grateful that Jesus Christ had His Life for me. No gutter experience for me, was quite "happy" going my way in high-tech, but Jesus had other plans and I am eternally grateful. Oh, a sma...Expand for more
