Dan's Story
Got my undergrad from UW-River Falls and then moved on to Philadelphia to start a graduate program that didn't work out. Ended up working in a bar for a couple years while trying to figure out what I was going to be when I grew up.
Got into a Masters degree program in Physical Therapy there and graduated in 1994. I worked in Pennsylvania Hospital (our nation's first hospital--founded by Ben Franklin and just a few blocks from Indepen...Expand for more

Headed west to San Francisco in 1995 to start working at San Francisco General Hospital - the trauma hospital for the city and the SF peninsula. Have been here 26 years now and still loving it. Got my doctorate along the way and have done some teaching at three local universities.
Have made it back to Florence County a few times in the past 35+ years. Mom is still there in Aurora.
