Dan's Story

Life So much has happened. I created the internet games Elf Bowling, Elf Bowling 2 and Frogapult. Don't know if you ever played them but they were some of the most popular Internet games ever. Hard to believe, but after high school I had a successful military career, including being featured in a U.S. Army advertising campaign and serving as a military assistant for a NATO conference in Monterey California. In 1996, I co-founded NVision Design, a new media firm. After growing the company to 40 employees, I sold the company to a competitor in town, where I became SVP of Creative. After a year, I left to start another design company called Blockdot. It is...Expand for more
a ton of fun. We own and run the game site kewlbox.com. It's one of the Top 50 gaming sites on the Internet. We recently built 5 games for the new Star wars movie. I'm married now, no kids but we do have a dog and a cat. We do a lot of traveling, cooking, and enjoying music. Last show I saw was Duran Duran at Nokia Live. We got to go back stage and meet the band. (Making games get you into a lot of cool gigs.) College Graduated from UTA with a degree in Journalism. (Graduated in 4 years if you can believe that.) Was a member fo Beta Theta Pi. Workplace I own a game development company in Dallas. We have about 15 employees. Check out our site blockdot.com
